My tv not turning on there Is know powder going to the tv .this has been happening since yesterday. And I have read a lot of comments about this .know red light and I have tired everything and still know joy .so won't be paying for this .

Hold the power button on side of TV until it flashes. It then will do a reboot and you can follow the instructions on the TV. I've just done it and it worked

Turns out it's got an update . So I unplugged at the mains plugged back in and as it turned on I held the buttong under the puck box for about 20 seconds until it started to flash red and orange . Now it's showing an update on my TV hopefully its sorted it out

My sky glass is not turning on, no red stand by button either, how long has this been going on? Was working fine yesterday the 19th,

The steps worked. I am back online! Hallelujah. Hope everyone else gets sorted soon.
Side note - I still expect some compensation for mental torment over the last day sky!

Many of u keep saying switch of TV etc I've been checking since last night and this morning following those steps and nothing happens ?????!!!!

To get it working try
switch of at mains
held the on / off button on side of tv
while holding the button down
turn back on at mains
keep holding
red light on base of tv started flashing fast
release hold on side button
sky logo appears
followed the prompts
tv now working
no thanks to sky tho got info through community

I got stuck on the PIN stage too.
Entered Wrong Pin three times. Locked it.
Went into Change Pin.
They asked for Payment Account Details. If you have Direct Debit paying, as I do, these are the last four digits of my Bank Account Number. After that, was able to change my PIN and finish off the reset.

Since 4PM 19th SEPT i am unable to even turn the TV on...I am still in the cooling off period for the new contract. I pay for multi room as well. I cannot even watch normal tv, bbc1 etc. My 2 teenage daughters are ripping the house apart. My wife is even more angry than usual...
The compensation had better be a MONTH paid for,,,,,,,,,,I will not accept 24 hrs paid for as you have not provided any service at all..
If its a DATA breach then get the cheque book out SKY......
Otherwise contact the delivery guys and get the useless tele.....

The chat service isn't working either - on top of that I can't get hold of the support team and all it says on the app is outage

What worked for me is to hold the power button the side, wait till the red light starts flashing, then while still holding the power button press the power button on remote.
The TV will reboot and you must follow a few easy steps but it doesn't take long.
I'm now up and running again
