@BenJoBanjo so would you just say that I'm best off either sticking with this one or just giving up all together? It's odd to me that nobody else has commented to say that they have this issue too if it's so common.

It's a difficult question to answer. I used to have a VA LCD TV which had pretty good screen uniformity and decent contrast. I don't watch football though so never had to experience the type of image disturbance you're clearly seeing. I got used to it as it wasn't particularly distracting, but was there to some extent if I really looked for it.

If I were you, and watching football was important to me, I'd go for different type of TV. A mini-LED or an OLED are definitely much better at avoiding DSE.

@schiv85 Not a problem at all to ask.

If you go to Settings, Picture & Sound, Picture and then select Custom settings Configure, my settings are:

Contrast 60

Sharpness 10

Video Brightness 65

Colour Saturation 75

Hue/Hint 60

Local Dimming On

I haven't touched White balance or Colour Management.

Hope that helps.

Thank you. Appreciate it. Backlight just on 50 or do you have it on Auto adjustment?

@schiv85 At the moment it's set to On but that's just because there's another firmware issue in the Gen Two that prevents it from being disabled at the moment.

I've been told by Sky that I've to give it a few weeks to see if the next update fixes it and if not they have said they'll replace it.

I presume you are aware of the Prime Video issue that has caused issues for some customers? That's awaiting a fix but if you use Prime Video, sign out of it afterwards and restart the TV. It seems to not lose connection according to some.
