Plus you can get better tv's cheaper.

They really like trying to push the Glass onto people, which may have worked 2 years ago when it was first released but i can't understand why someone would want to necessarily choose the Glass over the stream puck at the moment.
You get the benefits of the streaming platform ( great for those that can't have Q), and you don't get tied into the Sky TV hardware and can buy much better TVs are cheaper prices.

Are Sky desperate to empty the warehouse stockpile.... when was the production line last run?
Are there any estimates of how many were produced?

Don't get either. Glass and stream are both a backward step from Sky Q.
Sky Q is the best of both worlds. Limitations not only on recordings but also on content no longer being available mean both Glass and Stream are a let down.

I'd tend to agree with this for those who just have a single Q box.
If you've no interest in having UHD on multiple TVs around your home and want the simplest, most reliable full TV service then Sky Q is still the way to go.

@MarkGoldsmith In November I moved from Glass to Stream and have to agree that I have less issues with the puck than I did with Glass and TBH there weren't many issues with Glass.
Moving to a decent TV & sound bar was a little more expensive that purchasing a new Glass TV but the difference in the overall viewing experience is well worth the difference. I don't regret my choice at all. As far as Sky Q goes I am now so used to the convenience of watching virtually anything I want at any time that I wouldn't consider returning to Sky Q.
