Replacement remote
My son has accidentally dropped the Gen2 controller onto a hard floor and it's smashed everywhere, tried putting it back together but to no avail, filled the form in online but no option to state damaged so I've said not functioning correctly.
I have spoken to Sky separately and they said I may not get a replacement due to damage, I've had a text to say my request has been actioned and to allow 48 hours for delivery, take it that means I'm getting a new controller?
I have seen on Amazon they sell what looks like the Gen 1 controllers which are £29.99, I take it these are the same and work on Gen2, you can't get the volcanic grey color though.

Re: Replacement remote
It normally does take a few days for a replacement remote to arrive by post and is normally sent by Royal Mail.
Keep a check on your MySky order tracking for any updates and/or emails/texts.
If you have an old Sky Q remote, you can use those remotes as a temporary measure.
A few of the buttons mismatch on the Sky Q remote obviously.

Re: Replacement remote
Thank you, are the Gen1 controllers the same?
I did think about using the old Sky Q remote or they said on the phone, use the controller from the pluck upstairs, press 1 and 3 to pair.
if I then wanted to use it upstairs, I'd just have to repeat the steps above to re pair?
just had that text so far, no record of anything via mysky app at the moment.

Re: Replacement remote
The current Sky Glass (Gen 1 and Gen 2) and Sky Stream puck all use the same remote.
Yes you can only pair it with one device at a time for a Sky Stream puck or a Sky Glass tv.
We have seen some later remotes have a minor design change on the volume button.
But the functions remain the same.
