Other household devices apparently lead to Glass failing several times a day
My Sky Glass disconnects itself from my broadband at least wice a day while I'm watching TV.
Sky tell me it's my fault as other devices such as Ring and Alexa take too much bandwith and my TV fails requiring a 5 minute reboot every time!
II have several other device in the house such as a PC and two mobile phones.
TV fails even when I'm alone in the house with nothing else other than Ring and Alexa requiring bandwith.
I'm in the middle of a two year contract but will leave when I can.
Very frustrating service

What speed is the Netflix app reporting? On your Glass TV go to Netflix and then on the sidebar go to get help. In there there's a network test. If you could do that and share the result that will help us figure out next steps.

My Glass connection is the same. I don't have ring and Alexa is powered off 90% of the time but my connection drops every 1 to 2 hours. It's driving me nuts having to keep powering off and leaving it a couple of minutes, missing the end of lots of programmes. It only started this year along with the sound going out of sync, but getting ready to ditch Sky all together as had nothing but problems in the last six months.

Re: Other household devices apparently lead to Glass failing several times a day
One thing to try if you have it connected via WIFI, is to disable the Wifi in the settings, connect via an ethernet cable instead and then reboot the Glass by turning it off at the plug for 5 minutes ( this will ensure the Wifi gets disabled).
Its possible the issue is the Wifi network strength, and this test using an ethernet cable will either confirm thats the case or eliminate the Wifi network as the cause.

Re: Other household devices apparently lead to Glass failing several times a day
Strange, it doesn't affect me at all.
I have 3 Amazon Echo devices, a Ring Doorbell, Hive thermostat with 6 Hive smart radiator valves, a 55" Sky Glass 1 and a 55" Sky Glass 2.
Broadband is from Sky, I get around 58Mbps at the router, and Netflix reports 51.85 Mbps.
I never get any dropouts or sound problems, and I haven't had to reboot either Glass since Glass 2 was delivered and set up 10 days ago, and Glass 1 was moved to the bedroom.
I wonder if you're experiencing congestion on the channel your wifi is using, perhaps clashing with a neighbour?
May be worth changing your wifi channel and seeing if that makes any difference?

Re: Other household devices apparently lead to Glass failing several times a day
My Sky is exhibiting exactly the same problem. I also lose connectivity to a blink camera that's at my Glass and my Ring Doorbell. My kids also have problems connecting to and using the Wifi...and my partner randomly loses connection on her teams calls.
My Ring Doorbell is 3 ft from the router and the Glass and Blink Camera is about 10ft away from it 🤷
