@Mar+wade Unfortunately replacements seem to usually be refurbished units. I agree with you that one would expect a brand new unit but sadly that is not the case.

@Mar+wade  Any subsequent replacement is also likely to be a refurbished unit

sky are under no legal obligation to replace with a brand new unit the position is when a set is replaced the replacement legally has to be of equivelant condition to the goods returned so can be from refurbished stock.

Re: Replacement glass tv

There's no chance you'd get a new TV after that period .... unless you'd paid for new for old insurance!

The line may disappear if you pull the plug for a few minutes then plug back in

@Tina109I had something similar on a Glass TV about 2 years ago. A normal reboot didn't help so I left the TV unplugged overnight and the line disappeared and luckily it never came back.

Give it a try but if it doesn't resolve the issue or if it keeps coming back you should call Sky for additional troubleshooting and if necessary another replacement TV (assuming it is still within its 24 month warranty.  Like most warranties, the 24 months starts from the date of the purchase of your first Glass TV and not when they gave you the replacement.).
