It certainly looks a good deal @Gincap  Are you thinking of returning from the dark side?

In case they try to implement an annual increase I would make a note of the date & time of your conversation so you can direct them to the recording.

As you know I had Glass originally but I later sold it and moved to  a stream puck with OLED TV and a soundbar. I have never regretted this decision.

Hello, dark side, cheeky 😂

With these deals Sky is now close to the DIY pricing of Now etc. but it does tie you in. I asked several times 2 years no increases or hidden annual increase and he said 100% no you pay the same rate for 48 months so it looks good

Plus lets be honest the total integration of Sky can't be beaten albeit Apple does work too but a little disconnected.

It's my neighbours fault he needed help setting up his new glass tv, I was impressed with the picture quality over gen1 and he too has a good deal.  That said within hours he was suffering the gremlins of Playlist and CW for a few days but we got that sorted today with the help from here. That does concern me will I just be back into the issues of the past.

A decision to be made my offer is on the table until tomorrow 🤔

I'm paying £3.99 for Now Cinema but of course Paramount is extra at £4.99 for HD I got a 12 month offer with Tesco or something can't remember so Sky is pretty similar price. Sport I have at £19.99 with Sky offer £19.00.

I've been in chat with Now and they confirmed I can cancel Now (sport is on a 12 month deal) if switching to Sky as they are the same company.

I'm popping into Cardiff tomorrow will take a look at colours before any decisions made.

Thanks again and the sun is shining in Porthcawl so get down to the seafront 😉

Haven't been for a while ! Waiting for the fair to be demolished 🤣

I'd worry that the advisor was talking about the monthly cost of the Glass repayment as opposed to the subscription package when referring to the price freeze.

100% said 2 year contract no increase, this was specifically discussing services not kit. If I purchased glass I wouldn't get credit anyway. I recently changed my mum's tv and broadband and hers was frozen for 2 years too. I have the email of her contract confirming. Something new no idea.

Just had the same renewing my VM internet - said they would remove the annual price increases for the duration of the contract - must be a new thing !

I believe so they have you for 2 years regardless as I said my mum was £5 for tv £20 for full fibre 75 she is 88 years visually impaired plus other issues and her circumstances reduced the tv just to £5 as vulnerable 🤔 never heard this before but Sky offered this I didn't ask. £25 a month fixed 2 years no annual increases.

im tempted now as the price Sky quoted myself nearly match my DIY prices about £12 more so for the extra cost but 2 years fixed no annual it is a no brainer for an all in one solution. Still have Apple for BFI, Acorn TV, Talking Pictures etc.
