Help right can someone help with a replacement off a crack screen. I paid a lot off money for my sky glass tvv. Reall not happy can plz help thanks
If the TV was delivered with a cracked screen then you should absolutely receive a free replacement.
If you damaged the screen accidentally then you need to purchase a new TV and make a claim on your home contents insurance accidental damage policy (if you have one.)
Like any TV purchased from any retailer, Sky Glass is yours from the moment you receive it, regardless of whether you have finished paying for it or not. If you damage it, that's not the fault of the retailer, in this case Sky, so you need to pay for replacement yourself.

You'll need to negotiate that with Sky, but it's your set (even if you are still making loan repayments) and accidental damage isn't the responsibility of Sky.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf the Tv has been damaged you would either need to pay for it to be repaired so purchase a new one ( however you would still need to pay off the damaged one).
The warranty on a Sky glass applies if the TV is faulty ( or damaged on delivery) as opposed to have been accidentally damaged.
As others have stated if you have accidental damage cover on your home insurance you would be eligible to make an insurance claim.

The community can't arrange this for you.
Also you raised this issue in March so what have you done since then as you were given the same advice.

Are you even reading the replies? We can't do anything we are customers here, you need to call Sky.
Repeatedly posting the same thing over & over won't get you anywhere or change the replies already given.
Your duplicate post you added onto the back of another older thread has also been removed.

Farrell 88 I don't think you are understanding what's happening, if your sky glass TV is accidentally damaged, by your self or by any member of your family, if the TV is still under guarantee, and accidental damage is not included in the guarantee for the screen to be replaced for free, you personally are responsible for paying for a new screen, by the sound of it your guaranteed will only include electric FAULTS, but not accidental screen damage, looks in the small print in your guarantee policy or something resembling your guarantee policy.

There's no need to look: accidental damage isn't covered by the guarantee on a Glass set (as it almost never would be on any other guarantee)
Cover for accidental damage is almost always insurance, because it requires the operation of an entirely different regulatory system: guarantees are under general consumer law, but insurance is a very specialist sector.
