Radio on sky glass

Just got my sky glass yesterday and all good so far, little disappointed there is no usb stick support on side or back of t.v, maybe something they could add in the future. Another little niggle is that of  the radio, I like to put smooth on late at night but cannot see an option to blacken the screen, radio on the sky q the screen was black with just the radio logo on it, now it's bright with all the details about the dj etc. Anyone know if there is a way to darken the screen without messing with your custom settings?

@howdy12 assume you have found the various radio apps like BBC sounds or Radioplayer the visuals will be whatever the app displays. Sky are very unkikely to add support for usb drives etc the USB socket is reserved for use with the Sky Live camera.

Re: Radio on sky glass

Yeah it's not sky's fault but the apps, why have silly visuals for a radio station🙄. Overall not bad, I can see why some don't like it, no mirror share, no usb ports and no google Internet, could do with one more hdmi port but it's not a major deal. Apart from that the picture is good but you need to go into custom settings and tweak it for yourself,  the sound is good too, as I had the sky soundbox for my other t.v and the sound is pretty much the same.

 no google Internet

That would only be found on a television set running an Alphabet operating system, which Comcast would never choose to do.

Re: Radio on sky glass

Good quality Smart TVs have internet browsers from which Google search can be accessed.🤔

Sky possibly don't want customers internet browsers running on their server due to security issues?
