QS035 Sky Glass Gen 2

Does anyone know when we will see the QS035 update on Gen 2? Hope to get the super annoying WFS fix, and maybe some other fixes (There has been a technical fault for this channel).

 

Want to love it, but it keeps disappointing me 🤣🤣

@ukbigdave2  It will arrive whe  it arrives, Sky don't publish timescales, all releases ar done in batches.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

No information yet. I too am waiting for the WFS fix. At the moment its only the gen 1 and pucks getting QS035.

It's likely the gen 2 will skip QS035 altogether and go straight to QS036 (from qs034)

 

qs035 mostly contained fixes for lip synch and WFS issues.

My Sky Stream has updated this morning... and it finally says "Sky OS" in place of "entertainment OS". Nothing on Sky Glass Gen 2 yet though.

What version is on your stream now is it QS035?

Would be a shame for Gen 2 not to get a quick resolution to the WFS issues (we had this on Gen 1 too). 

I know its first world problems, but missed the end of 2 sports events that we were watching on delay in the last week.... Why can't they update it faster? QS035 seems to have been in the conversation for months and just rolled out, can't see how QS036 comes in the next 3 months..

Come on Sky, sort us out.

So far I have seen an improvement on qs035 as lip sync has been fixed and performance of sky stream puck has improved compared to qs034.

QS036 will be the next update for Gen 2, and is not far off from what I understand but as others have pointed out they don't publish the schedule and plans may change.

@ukbigdave2 The QS036 update for Sky Glass (Gen 1 & 2) started rolling out last night but depending where you are in the schedule it could be a couple of weeks before your specific TV receives the update.

@neilherd0302 There is a patch update for the Stream puck that started its rollout last night is is QS035.016.00p.  I'm not sure what it is supposed to patch and although updated last night I have not seen and difference so far but I haven't watched much TV today.

 

I'm guessing that a new QS036 update for the pucks won't start rolling out until the Glass update is completed.
