Poor deals for existing Sky Glass customers

Hi all, anyone finding that there is a distinct lack of online offers available to Sky Glass customers?  Bad enough we have less channels and functionality than normal Sky customers, but we pay the same if not more as no deals available.
anyone found a way round it?

Perhaps worth knowing that Glass pricing was originally intended specifically to get away from the myriad of time-limited 'deals' which proliferate in the satellite television products.

There are offers, but you have to call Sky. I saved a fair bit moving from 31day rolling to 18 month contract after speaking to the retention team.

No offers at all, I've been with sky for many years classed as a platinum customer but means nothing. Prices going up again and called and as I have glass no deals as not as popular yet

I got offers moving from 31 day rolling contract contract to 18 months. You need to speak to the retentions team. Normal customer services agents can't apply the discounts to the account.

@Em851 Fully agree, for some reason almost all the offers apply to Sky HD+ or Sky Q and not Glass/Stream.  I cancelled Sport as it was too expensive to watch mainly F1.  There was an offer of F1 only but again this did not apply to Stream customers otherwise I would have taken that.  As it turns out I had no problem with watching it later, I just had to avoid the news until I had watched it.

Re: Poor deals for existing Sky Glass customers

There are plenty of offers available for Sky stream. Cancel and see what they offer.

I pay

£4 for sky cinema

£18 for Sky sports

£0 for UHD

£22 for base pack

£6 for whole home.

Quoting new customer deals via third party sites is always a good point of negotiation where Sky are currently offering

base pack £19

sky sport £18

sky cinema £8

whole home £10

kids £4

UHD £4

the other option is to leave Sky and take out a new contract in a different name with the deal above

LG C2 OLED 55inch
Sonos Playbar
Virgin 1 Gig
Virgin Stream Box

@Jason+Golding Thanks for the interesting post Jason.  The last time I discussed prices with Sky I basically said as a pensioner I was finding it too expensive and was there anything they could do to help me get the prices down.  The discussion went back and forth but in simple terms ended up with Sky saying there was nothing they could.  Consequently, I cancelled Sky Sport as it was costing me £27 per month.  As mentioned in my earlier post I mostly watched F1 so it was an expensive luxury.

When I cancelled I didn't receive any inducement to resubscribe to sport. I probably wouldn't have taken advantage of it anyway.  I will be cancelling Cinema as soon as my wife has finished watching a   series on Paramount+ so it will be interesting to see if I get any offers after that.

I've had the exact same exprience quoting new customer details. I'm on £18 a month for Ultimate TV + Netflix, £22 for Sky Sports and £6 for whole home. For UHD, Ad Skipping and Sky Kids, I'm on a constant loop of accepting 2/4month £0 offers, cancelling them during the final month and having them reappear (sometimes after just a few days) on the app afterwards. Been that way for 2 years now and still receiving the offers.

I've been doing the same. I had ad-skipping free for the first year of Stream ownership but refused to pay for it when that deal expired (as it remains woefully glitchy). Within a day of my 31 day cancellation period ending, an offer of 3 months free appeared on the MySky app.

I've had the same with UHD/Atmos. I paid £6 for it once, cancelled and within a day of cancellation a 2 months free offer was available. Like you, I've just cancelled these offers in the final month and they've re-appeared again, and again, and again... a simple reminder in my phone stops me forgetting to cancel them.
