Hi all, does anyone have any experience/advice/tips for easy switching from Sky Glass to Sky Stream.
I currently have a Sky Glass TV plus a stream puck in another room.
I'm looking to replace the Glass with an OLED TV with a stream puck and hoping for a seamless transition with playlists etc being carried over.
I'd love to hear any experiences and any advice for making it painless and minimise stress!
thanks folks!

Ah, I see you already have Whole Home. In that case, obtaining another puck should be straightforward, but you'd still be advised to get the Glass set removed as the primary device before selling it, giving it away, junking it or repurposing it as a coffee table. Playlists and all other settings are server-side anyway.

Glass and Stream use the same content subscription service: the difference is the hardware.
If you are outside the month-long cooling off period then you would struggle to return the television set to Sky: it's yours to dispose of otherwise, but any outstanding finance must be maintained or paid off.
Within a minimum term, you can't cancel the television subscription service, and there's no particularly good mechanism to 'transfer' it from a Glass television to a Stream puck..
Outside a minimum term, one workaround might be to order Whole Home and a puck on a rolling contract, get that working, then get Sky to make the puck the 'primary device' and cancel Whole Home

@TimmyBGood @Thank you.
The set is bought and paid for and had planned to dispose of it on eBay or locally; I'm not that concerned about that bit.
I was just hoping there was a straightforward "plug and play" option to get a second puck which would effectively become the main device, replaying the Glass. Sounds like it might be doable?

@TimmyBGood Hahaha!
I was thinking it might make a nice museum piece alongside the Betamax VCR 😂
