Own a Sky glass tv

Hi all. I currently have a glass tv but changed to virgin media. My contract is up now but looking to come back to sky. What do I need to subscribe to for tv and fibre broadband?

I've been offered 30-400 mbs ultra fast broadband Netflix & tv package for £52.

not sure if this is good or is there better deals out there. Not sure if I need to subscribe to a stream service since I already have the glass tv.

Any advice would be much appreciated. 👍

If you think of that as £26 for FTTP broadband and £26 for subscription television then yes, I'd say that's a good deal.

This is a complication: if you took the offer then you'd be getting it on a Stream puck, not the Glass television, and to use both would require the Whole Home add-on.  You could attach the puck to the Glass television over HDMI, but that's rather clunky, particularly regarding remote control.

An alternative is perhaps to take the broadband, then add a content subscription to the Glass television as a second-hand unit.

Re: Own a Sky glass tv

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. So add a broadband package then add a tv subscription later. Does this need to be a stream subscription?

You can reinstate your Glass subscription, however you will likely have to give Sky a call as it won't let you do this online.

Re: Own a Sky glass tv

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes you are correct as it says online to contact sky. I'm just trying to pick best deal to keep costs down as my virgin contract ending and they double monthly subscription.

We update, thanks to you all for helping me out with this sky glass subscription.

I have been back on the phone to sky and the outcome is fantastic. Sky glass tv now activated. Deal was tv ultimate with Netflix and ultra fast broadband 150mbs for £40. Well pleased and thanks again for all your help 🤣👍
