No Hayu app

I've recently cancelled my sky entertainment, all apps are still available except Hayu. Does anyone know why it would disappear and I can't just use it with a subscription not via sky? Also the mic is now no longer available so can't search for it but it's not on my apps list

Voice search is not available without a subscription. 

It might be that app is a subscriber only app. I can't find a definitive list of free apps, but as that one is owned by Comcast I wonder if it's only with a Sky subscription.

However you could plug in a Fire Stick or similar and access the app that way.
