Hi, 

so I bit the bullet and ordered a Gen 2. It's coming on Sunday. 

Is there any way of transferring the info saved on the Gen 1 to the Gen 2? Such as my playlist?

Everything on your gen 1 is stored on Sky's servers not on the tv. So linking your gen 2 to your account will bring up everything you see on the gen 1.

If you  have a whole home subscription  then everything  on your  gen 2 will  be the same as your  gen 1 once you have  set it up,
