We are moving home and carrying out the move ourselves.
we have appropriate packaging etc, the issue is our transport, we need to know how best to transport a 65" sky glass tv.
should it be upright ? can it lay down? That sort of thing.
obviously protecting the screen and avoiding weight/pressure is necessary it's just the positioning we need to work out.
As currently we have only cars (of varying sizes) available to us... can it be laid down or angled, or does it have to be upright

No one here can really provide that guidance. Personally I wouldn't angle or lay it flat as any knock to the screen could render it unusable.
And just for awareness Sky don't provide repairs for screens so if it does get damaged you would need to pay for the unit to be swapped. See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-glass-tv-repairs
And you would still be liable for payments if purchased on finance.

Personally I'd suggest transporting it separately, laid flat, probably with the stand removed to avoid angular pressure.
It's probably most at risk during handling rather than transport.
You might want to consider specific insurance, but check for exclusions.

Would be be best to lay it flat.
It should be ok travellling, it's more the moving it to and from the vehicle that would be the more risky time, all around protecting the screen.
It is the screen that is most at risk in a move.
If it's easy to, remove as much of the stand as you can.
Place some blankets or a quilt down when working with or laying flat for travelling and place the screen face down on top of that.
