Moving from Sky Q to Sky Stream

Have you moved from SkyQ to Sky Strea or Sky Glass. If so was the transfer easy and more imprtantly how much did your subscription change by?

That's an impossible question to answer in many respects.

It is relatively easy to switch from Q to Stream but in terms of cost - it varies, depending on which channel packages and add-ons you choose.

Ask yourself why you want to switch? Is there a particular reason.

Just because Sky Stream is newer it doesn't automatically make it better. It works brilliantly for some people and terribly for others, depending on how they use it and what they watch. There are fewer channels on Sky Stream and you lose the same ability to record anything to watch at your convenience. Instead you have a playlist which will playback content on demand when it is made available by Sky or the original broadcaster.

Sky Stream relies entirely on you having a constant fast and stable broadband connection of 25Mbps minumum. Without this it is pointless considering it. You can get UHD on multiple TV's if you order additional Stream pucks and pay extra for the Whole Home subscription so this is one benefit of Stream over Q.
