Adverts repeating

I'm currently watching the same advert break for the fifth time in a row! I'm trying to watch formula 1 from my sky stream playlist. I fast forward through the talking at the beginning and then the adverts play. After the adverts have played I try to fast forward again but it skips back to the beginning of the same ad break! It's like I'm living in groundhog day.

I assume Sky make the experience as horrible as possible to force people to buy the ad skipping feature. I don't mind watching the adverts but I pay a lot of money just to watch the same ad break on repeat!

This is not the first time this has happened. Almost every time I try to watch formula 1 from my playlist the same thing happens. Really shocking service from Sky.

Re: Adverts repeating

Now I'm trying to fast forward and it just says that have have 4 minutes of adverts to watch so I can't but this is in the middle of the program. I leave it 30 seconds and try again and it says the same thing... 4 minutes of adverts.

Something is really wrong with this service.

I've just reached the next ad break and it's gone back to the previous one! I'm in an endless loop!

Re: Adverts repeating

@David377

This seems to be a common problem at the moment. There seems to be a whole range of errors that have crept back Sky Glass. As you will see from post from people who have had Glass from the early days these errors come and go from time to time and it varies from customer to customer. Some of us have gone through every thing from re-booting, checking Internet speed, contacting Sky, standing on one foot while you re-boot the system but nothing fixes it. not sure that Sky actual know what causes the problems, they do get fixed eventually and then everything is ok for awhile until the problems start again, a few years ago there were issues with nearly every Grand Prix for the whole season.  Whilst there are some problems that everyone experiences there are some that vary from customer to customer and we found with F1 that it very much depended on which program you watched and when you watched it.
