The red light is on at the front but that's the only response to the remote. The TV won't respond to voice command, the remote for anything else , the button on the RHS and motion any more. Changed the batteries and restarted wifi.

Have you tried unplugging the TV for a couple of minutes and seeing if that helps?

And that has done the job! Thank you - completely forgot the first rule of tech stuff: turn it off and on again 😂

No problem - it's quite common for little bugs to occur on Sky glass and Sky stream where a simple unplug for a couple of minutes resolves it.
