You ring up and your advised to switch off switch on or back to factory settings reset picture wasted many hours ringing

Well, I'm wondering if Sky have fixed this, finally.

Turned my Glass 2 on a short while ago, the green LED went from solid to flashing as it normally does when coming on, but it took 5 minutes for the TV to start up. Almost as if it was running recovery, the same as turning off the socket and holding the power button on the TV whilst turning the power back on.

TV now works as it should, no black screen, no having to go to the Amazon TV app first, so fingers crossed!

TV is still on QS036.017.00P / Sky OS1.3

Last 2 mornings mine has worked fine. Not gone to Amazon app or logged out. Fixed?

Has anyone asked Sky if Glass customers are getting any sort of compensation because I've heard that when Sky Q customers had technical issues last week they have been given compensation of gift from Sky Store

@ScottishClaymore I'll be asking for some when it's confirmed the problem has been definitively fixed. I certainly expect more than a free Sky Store movie because it's been an issue for far longer than the loss of a few hours viewing by the Q issue. Not two Sky Store movies either!

If the Sky Q customers were offered a free film from the Sky Store for having a 12 hour outage, can I have my car's old timing chain replaced by Sky for having no service for a month and a half? Just checking....

@MarkP65 Sky Q customers were not happy due to the offer only applying to certain films from what I can gather.

Let you all know that I spoken to yesterday about this compensation thing & guy offer me credit to my broadband bill of £35 which is cost of my monthly bill for GIgfast but upon checking late at night on MySky app the credit was applied to my Streaming account instead hope this helps some of you if you ask them but they will ask how long you had current issue though, if there is notes on your account too.

Judging by the lack of any new  posts recently I would guess there isn't an issue any longer .....hopefully...........
