@JakeT1 wrote:Just chiming in to say that the "sign out of Amazon" workaround seems to have fixed it, thank you to whoever suggested it.
I signed out of the Amazon app, restarted my TV and so far (4 days) the tv has been working fine with no black screen or "technical fault" error message.
Shocking that Sky still haven't fixed it though, I guess I'll just watch Amazon Prime stuff through my Apple TV for now.
Hi @JakeT1 have you tried signing back into Amazon ? Some users are reporting they can now sign into Amazon and are issue free

Still crashing out, watching sky cinema movie. Picture artefact followed by horrendous high pitched sound and I have to unplug....sigh.
2 crashes using HDMI devices over the bank holiday.
the problems have been significantly less frequent since logging out of amazon, but still not good enough.
again, never had this trouble before 7th April. Had the set replaced once.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
As of today, Sky engineers have not fixed the issue. A Sky support employee has been messaging me every week to inform me on progress on a fix. The message today said Sky engineers are still working on this being resolved. Therefore our workaround is still a temporary fix. I now sign into Amazon Prime every day but sign out after I have finished watching and return to a TV channel. This has given me a stable TV service the next day without any black screens and the "loading" message. It's quicker than dealing with factory resets. Not ideal but better than how it was

I've remained logged in to Prime for several days now, and all is fine. I'm still on the v35 firmware after the rollback a while ago.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
I've not had the rollback, still on the Q036 version, so I do still have the issue if I don't remember to log out of Prime Video. I just don't post when I do because it doesn't achieve anything. We know we're awaiting the fix from Sky.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
I'm on QS036.017.00P,
A few days ago my Glass 2 performed a hard recovery all by itself on switch-on, not had the problem since and signed into Amazon.
So it appears it's not QS035 that cures the problem.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
New gen 2 tv , only had it plugged in for a few days and it buffers a lot , mainly in the evening .
I've never logged in to the Amazon app and my wifi signal is strong ( currently 300mpbs in the room the tv is )
any ideas what the cause is and how to rectify it ?
