Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.

@Jporch316 Just because there are no new posts doesn't mean it's fixed. Those of us that had the problem are aware that Sky is responsible for fixing the problem and there's little to add until they say they have.

Yeah the programme load has pretty much resolved when Amazon is logged out...

still crashing when using HDMI most days

@wsimm It's not resolved if that's what you have to do to avoid the black screen of doom. It's resolved when we no longer have to do that.

If it's crashing when you use HDMI maybe you need a new cable? I've been able to watch my Blu-ray's with no problems throughout this long and tedious process. It's only ever crashed when using an app/live TV pre-Prime workaround.

It was an issue that affected a small minority ..... I'm not so sure there will be anything further added. Just a guess .....

Working perfectly for me for the past couple of days, and I'm still logged into Amazon

Yes me. An educated guess.

when we had the mass outtage September 2024 there was hundreds of pages of posts in two days.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.

@Jporch316 Unless you have access to the number of people who have rung Sky about this issue you can't say with any confidence it was a minority. Not everyone with issues posts on forums.

I don't .... and that info will never be available. Hence my educated guess. It's only a guess. No problem if you have a different guess.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.

Just chiming in to say that the "sign out of Amazon" workaround seems to have fixed it, thank you to whoever suggested it.

I signed out of the Amazon app, restarted my TV and so far (4 days) the tv has been working fine with no black screen or "technical fault" error message.

Shocking that Sky still haven't fixed it though, I guess I'll just watch Amazon Prime stuff through my Apple TV for now.

@Anonymous You have just proved my point but I won't be making any further comment or it will start to get out of hand which is not the point of a help forum.  Keep well and good luck 👍
