If you are leaving Sky you will be charged if still in contract.

If you are changing from SkyQ to Sky Stream then you are not leaving Sky so will not incur leaving charges.

You may not be able to leave Sky whilst under the minimum term. The T&Cs state that cancellation of Sky TV contract in a minimum term period is at the discretion of Sky and if they allow it would incur an early termination charge of the rest of the contract up front.

However what you can do whilst under a Sky contract is switch between the Sky TV services, so Sky will allow you to switch between Sky +, Sky Q and Sky Stream/Glass however typically this will cause a new 24 month minimum term contract to start and the amount you pay will be different to whatever TV service you are currently on, as the prices are different between the various Sky TV services.
