Is Sky now broadcasting in Dolby Vision

 Has Sky started using Dolby Vision? Watching Billions and the Dolby Vision icon appeared on screen. Is this a clitch or have Sky finally moved to Dolby Vision, which would make sense as they market the Tv as a Dolby Vision and Atmos TV.

@Yoda1975

Sky are not broadcasting in Dolby Vision. All their HDR content is limited to HLG.

Billions is only available in UHD SDR - there is no HDR version available.

Try rebooting your Stream puck and trying the same episode again - it should revert to the correct SDR version.

Your puck must have got stuck in Dolby Vision mode (one of the bugs which occassionally appears.)

Both Sky Glass and Sky Stream can and do output Dolby Vison. This is however, limited to the "built in" APPS.

and also from external devices connected to a Glass TV via HDMI. Dolby Vision can be passed from a Firestick, Apple TV 4K box, Roku Streaming Stick, etc or indeed a 4K BluRay Player.

There is no Sky content which can be streamed in Dolby Vision on Sky Glass or Stream.
