Films

Evening everyone. So.i have sky glass. I've previously watched the joker film and saved it to my play list. BUT now the new one is out and joker is in sky cinema to buy mine has gone from my playlist. Or am.i missing something/ doing something wrong. Please help

@Dan_18 just because you playlist a programme doesn't mean it's permanently available to watch.

 

i'm assuming you playlisted Joker when it was broadcast on ITV. The playlist would therefore link to the Joker from ITV X. Typically broadcasters like ITV have on-demand rights for films for somewhere between 30-90 days. Once the ITV X rights expire and they remove it from the platform your playlist would update accordingly and point to another place that the film is available (which at the current time it looks like it's only available to rent or buy). When this happens the playlist will point you to Sky Store so you can rent or buy the film.

As @MarkGoldsmith indicates, Playlist is not Recording, despite what some Sky promotional material likes to imply.

 

While we all got very used to the contents of the Sky hard drives in the satellite boxes being there to refer back to whenever we wanted, that was always a bit of an aberration rather than 'ours': neither ownership or even long term retention rights were ever conferred.
