Hi

So not a good start so far. 
Added testing to the playlist last week and pretty much every day the series link would drop off. 

As expected this morning the link had gone, no cloud recording (so far) so unless it's made available later it seem these F1 test days are watch live / watch from start.

Ouch not what I wanted to hear at all. I haven't got my Sub back yet for sports waiting until the season gets underway properly so will likely get it back the Thursday before the Race on Sunday. I'm going say this now I will give it a couple of weekends and if it's bad I will be going with Virgin I already have the internet been considering going for a faster speed so new contract anyway and now they have Sky Sports 4K I know I will be able to record all sessions just miss out on HBO content I might just get a Now contract for a month for that.

Specially with them extending F1 rights to beyond what is the likely end date to Sky Q.

@CardiffMan1992  They've had one full season and part of another to work on this.  It's not like they're encountering an F1 season for the first time.

Very much true I was serious about the Virgin thing [Only thing keeping me strictly to Sky Stream was 4K F1 can't get a Dish where I live]  as well they have had all off season to get it fixed after the disaster it was last year. I would love this platform to prosper as I do like the monthly contracts but if they don't get the fundamentals right I am leaving simple as that.

How are people adding the F1 to the playlist? I added it from the TV guide towards the end of the season last year from the UHD channel and since then it has cloud recorded as expected each session from the final races.  

Today it has cloud recorded the 1st Test session in UHD (e.g it has just continued the playlist into this season).  The playlist item it is coming under is "Live: Forumla 1".  

I have done the same for Champions League recently and it has cloud recorded them from BT sport without a problem and the matches I expected.  I have also done this for super league rugby and Carabao Cup.  

I wonder if doing it directly from the TV guide sets up the playlisting in a different way (I think I read another thread mentioning rights issues), whereas if you just search and playlist it can be different.  

That's my experience anyway so worth giving it a try.

That's interesting that yours has cloud recorded and followed on from last years series link.

I did add this via the TV Guide but will remove the link wait a few hours and the add again.

Yep as I say it worked for those sports/events mentioned.  The only time I have seen it fail was when I tried the NBA.  Added from the TV guide but it did nothing.  

I believe that's probably a rights issue where Sky aren't allowed to record that content or something like that.

Hmm, Somethings not quiet right.

Added "Live: F1 Testing" to my Playlist earlier this week and actually watched both sessions by going via that Playlist item when they were on (IIRC first under On This Week).

However, right now "Live: F1 Testing" only has  two of the six sessions from 2022 available and no 2023....  However "Live: Formula 1" does have them available - but recorded from Main Event.

Interesting under the "On this week" section each "episode" now has an Add button, just tried adding the first (this was within my playlist so already added!) which removed Add from the others, so we'll see what it does tomorrow.

I had the same issue. The series added icon would disappear. Was also an issue with teds notebook not being  able to be added with something that came on before it. Would add one or the other. So disappointed to see nothing in my playlist apart from testing 2022. It's let me add them again, but I hold out no hope. This will be make or break for me.

I thought the same. Added all the tests from the guide, normal f1 channel. They kept disappearing. None in my list now. Very annoyed.

I cancelled Sport after the end of the 2022 F1 season as the implementation was so bad.  I was hoping that it would improve this season so will be keeping an eye on this thread.  An interesting observation made by @davidsale maybe he has found the answer 🤞

Day one afternoon session is showing up now

Easiest way to get to it is go via TV Guide select tomorrow's episode then scroll down to available now and it shows.

Morning session is still missing.

Got my hopes up then, Tim. Glad that worked for you. Even when following your guide I'm still only shown last years.
