Design fault on sky live

Hello

purchased sky live recently and returning immediately for a refund as it is not designed to be installed on wall mounted Sky Glass. Once set up the camera only picks up top half of the body. Has anyone else had issues with the poor design of the camera?  Tried to put it on shelf under tv but due to plug at the back of camera it will not sit flush.

From memory that's been mentioned in a couple of previous posts.

Presumably the camera had to have a specified vertical field of view and that was chosen to be from a tabletop rather than a wall mount.

Yeah I wish I had read them prior to purchase. But as a company who sell Sky Glass with wall mount included would design Sky Live to be available to everyone.

Unless that wasn't possible (given there's no externally adjustable lens element) and the tabletop height was taken as being the more common one.

Yeah I understand what your saying there but then if it's not suitable for wall mount because of design issue then sky should at least inform customers of that information and not sell it when they know it's not suitable.  Just wish there was some form of shelf or bracket that can be used to position it on the wall in a more suitable location.

I've been thinking about that: there are numerous brackets for the Xbox Kinect camera which might be suitable.

Re: Design fault on sky live

Did you  try the angle  positioned on the camera  to tile  it down  and sand back ?

Re: Design fault on sky live

I ask because  my sky glass  tv  is on the wall, using the bracket  from the tv and my sky live works fine, the grand children  are always playing  games on it when they visit  and we do watch together,  and I use the zoom all with  no problems, full body in the camera
