“Currently playing” tile vanishes

I keep having a problem when I press the home button on my puck whilst watching something and the "currently playing" tile that shows what's currently playing at the top isn't there and I can't get off the Home Screen and back to my programme I have to manually search for it or press play on continue watching . I wonder if anyone else had had this issue and how they managed to solve it?

when was the last time you pulled the plug out totally for a few minutes ? It maybe worth a shot
