Problems since purchasing Sky glass over 12 months ago

I purchased Sky glass over one year ago I have recently had to have a new sky glass TV as the other one developed pixelated screen line but to be honest I have had problems from day one with speech synchronisation since I have had the new television I'm having more problems with this and also Freezing screen flashing I have spoken to an advisor and I will reset the factory and I'm still having these problems sometimes it starts off okay if you switch channel it appears worse which channel again it appears with again then it will start flashing like the television is going to blow up I'm not happy with the responses I am getting although I've had a partial refund and a voucher for £15 to spend in Tesco's this does not in any way compensate me for all the problems that I've had in the last year I am constantly resetting speech switching the television off and on factory resetting turning my Internet off and on having to then sign into all my apps and accounts over and over again it is not an enjoyable way to watch television when you're paying up to 60 or £70 a month for this service and you are buying this television on HP which doesn't appear to work as it should and takes all the enjoyment out of an evening that you're supposed to be relaxing and watching television instead of your constantly stressing about all the issues and you cannot enjoy a relaxing evening in any way shape or form please advise what my options are to do about this I think I would like to end my contract with Sky because as the customer advisor told me there is a red flag for this speech synchronisation problem which they haven't resolved I'd appreciate anyone's help with this matter many thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

There's a fix en route for the lip/sync problem which you should get by the end of January. Meanwhile changing channel reportedly resets it.

Beyond that, I'd suggest listing all the failings you mention in a complaint to Sky, so that you have them documented. Dates and times will be helpful.

Note, you're not buying the TV on hire purchase. It's a straightforward personal loan. You own the TV outright from the date of purchase.

Ours was good to start with, but we now have constant problems requring me to unplug and reset nearly every day. Issues include..

Lip synch - many resets

The famous line down the screen - another reset

Channel not loading - another reset

New one - turning the TV to have the last channel sound still playing, which you can't stop and it won't load any other channels  another reset.

Some apps not loading - another reset. It is connected to Sky router via ehernet that Sky fitted! I have rebotted router as well. The pucks I have no problems with so is the TV. I have had it from the early days of glass, so no doubt out of warranty.

To be honest this will likely end up in the skip and we buy a new TV and plug in a puck.
