Connecting a Sony Sound Bar to my Sky Glass TV (Temporarily Only)

I have a Sony Sound Bar which, now that I have Sky Glass I no longer need, so I am looking to sell it. I want to be able to demonstrate to any prospective purchaser that the Sound Bar is working as it should but it is now disconnected from my old Sony TV. Can I simply connect the Sound Bar to my Sky Glass TV via its HDMI cable?

If there is any chance that connecting the Sound Bar might cause any issues with my Sky Glass or with its built-in Sound Bar then I will not bother connecting it but I would appreciate receipt of any advice.

An (e)ARC soundbar can be connected to HDMI #2 on a Glass television set: this stops audio being sent to the built-in speakers.
