Have you tried rebooting the TV? Turn it off at the wall for a minute then power back on. This often cures things like this.

Yes done that it's been playing up for about 5 days now

Try refreshing the apps by navigating to the following area in the settings menu:

settings > system management > resets and updates > Refresh Apps

Done  that twice and still not working

How long did you wait after selecting refresh apps before trying IT X again?
