Can you remove You Tube from the Sky Glass menu?

Does anybody know how to remove You Tube from the App menu?

Hi @SteveCash 

 

Entertainment OS is a managed platform and you cannot add or remove apps.

 

You can lock them using parental control: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/parental-controls-sky-glass

@SteveCash  Afaik you can't, everything is pre determined and loaded by sky

 

customers have no control over what is displayed

I wish there was!! Can't remove on Sky Q either. Standard answer is to use the PIN to restrict access. But with a child who is ND, this creates more issues as she can see its on there and has huge meltdowns. It's easier to just get rid of Sky which I will be doing when my current contact is up. This should be such a simple thing for them to do!

You can create a kids profile on YouTube which restricts access to kid friendly only videos
