Can you give Sky Glass back if it's faulty?

I hate Sky glass, I hate almost everything about it, except the TV quality.  Had it about 3 months, and made a list of things that are faulty, and things I just hate.  (Faults listed below)

My question is, can I get Sky to take it back, and switch me to Sky Q, because of the faults?  Man, I miss my old Sky HD box, that thing was flawless)

The connection to my AV amp cuts out randomly, for around 15 seconds, then comes back.  It can happen 4 times an hour, or none all night.

4 times now, it wouldn't connect, saying there's a problem with my broadband, when there isn't.  Because if I unplug it for a minute, it comes back up fine.

Sometimes FF and RW or pause doesn't work, and you have to turn the TV off and on again.

Sometimes, without me saying anything, it shows the voice prompt on screen "what do you want to do" and then it jumps away from what I was watching, back to the main menu.T

Sometimes if I press more than one button too quickly, it freezes up and I have to power it off at the plug, to get it to restart.

One 1 channel so far (ITVX) it shows so many episodes of a series you can click on.  Say, 1 to 12.  But if you let Episode 12 play to the end, it will show 13, 14, 15 etc.  But if you stop watching them, then you cant get back to them, unless you start from Episode 12 again and fast forward through them all until you get back to where you were.

Have you reported these faults to Sky over the three months?

@TotalOddball007

There are quite a few customers who have returned their Sky Glass TVs after several months of problematic ownership so it's certainly possible. There was someone on this forum only yesterday I think it was who'd had their credit agreement cancelled and Glass returned after just a few months.

Every case is different though. You did agree to purchase the TV in the first place, so you need to contact Sky and explain the issues you are having. They are aware that Glass doesn't work well for some people but you need to give them an opportunity to rectify the issues you are having.

They may be willing to cancel your agreement and have you return Glass based on what you have posted here, or they may not. But your first instance needs to be making contact with them and starting the complaints process.

It certainly sounds like you have a poorly performing unit and at the very least Sky should replace it to see if a different one performs any better.

Good luck.

I successfully returned and had credit agreement cancelled after 2 months.But I had reported faults on 3 units over this time on numerous calls to sky.

Hope you have told them how rubbish the TV is
