Dear all,
As per the topic title.
"Can I use Apple HomePods as an audio output on Sky Glass?"
While the sound quality on the Sky Glass is very nice indeed. I would love to utilise my stereo pair HomePods to compliment the Sky Glass onboard audio output.
Is the above at all possible and if so how?
Thanks in advance!

Once paired you can use both the HomePods and Glass speakers at the same time by pressing the button with the 3 white dots on your remote. Under audio you can select the relevant setting of bluetooth and speakers.

Although I'd observe that by doing so you'll be mangling what's presumably intended to be a carefully balanced audio mix into some kind of mutant mess...

Hi, thanks for the replies.
It seems that Apple Homepods cannot be added to Sky Glass as a 'new device' (Bluetooth). Therefore, they cannot be used as an audio output for the Sky Glass.
You can however, send the audio output from the Sky Glass via an Apple TV 4K (minimum 2nd generation or later) connected via the HDMi '(e)ARC' port, which in turn will output the audio signal through the Apple Homepods.
I only have an Apple TV 4K (1st generation), so sadly, I can't use the Homepods with Sky Glass.
If anyone knows of a workaround or information contrary to the above I would love to hear.
