No: without the black spacers or something of roughly equivalent thickness the wall plate will not clear the wall surface far enough to allow the set to locate securely and safely on the lugs.

At most you'd get a marginal interference fit which, given the weight and construction of Glass, would be distinctly hazardous.

If the spacers supplied by Sky have been misplaced then identical ones are available on eBay, from both the official Sky partners and other vendors.
