I have had this issue since April 2023 and have complained many, many, many times to Sky. If more people complain, maybe they will fix it. I have just discovered a workaround.
Go to the Netflix app and watch part of the programme you want to add. It will then appear on 'continue watching' and you can select it with the + button and add it to your playlist. Hope this helps

As a recent mover to Sky Stream from Q when we moved house, this service is full of constant disappointments and this is a perfect example and Sky just don't respond. This service could be great, and is marketed as such, but it's actually really pedestrian and a real step back from Sky Q. I wish we hadn't changed
