Ad Skipping not working

I've noticed ad skipping does not work on Discovery+ 

 

I notice others have said that restarting the Glass might help but that's not exactly a fix. 

Why doesn't anything Sky offers actually work as intended.

The Sky ad skipping pack does not do any kind of ad skipping on Discovery + or other non UK Tv channel  apps like Netflix, Disney+, Paramount + etc.

 

Ad skipping works with Sky live tv channels when using Watch from Start, Sky On demand content and the UK TV channel apps ITVx, C4 and C5

The ad-skipping add-on has never been supported in discovery +.

Same as Netflix or prime you have to pay for the premium subscription for discovery plus to watch without ads
