Broadband and TV access cost

I am disabled, and use a speech device to control my TV. I use broadband and Watch channels 1,3,5,5* only. I pay £86.50 per month for this. Have tried to contact Sky Accessability but having lost my 4 digit pin, they aren't helpful. If I can't sort this, will cancel SKY and move to another provider.

Is this 4 digit pin something that Sky Accessability asks for when you contact them ?

Re: Broadband and TV access cost

My father has to phone on my behalf - I think he started off with SKY Customer Services who asked for the PIN that was sent at the start of my original contract. When they understood my situation they referred him to Accessability Services. They asked for the PIN and he explained it was list, so then they wanted a visual link with me using some software (not Zoom or any others I am aware of). My dad couldn't get it working (he is pretty old!), so we sort of let things drift. Now though I really need to cut back on unnecessary spending🤒 so here I go again at trying to reduce my SKY spend.

Hi @HelenJ80

Welcome to the Sky Community.

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulty that you've had in getting help.

Is the PIN being asked for, one that you've set up in the past, so that Dad can help you with your account?  If this is the case, you can call into the accessibility team when you are both together. Providing you are able to give permission when he's there, the phone password can then be reset and as long as Dad remembers the PIN/password going forward, this should be fine.

There are other ways to get in touch with the accessibility team on this website .

Thanks
Kev
