What is a Sky iD?
Sky iD is your sign in for our online services, such as My Account, Sky Go, Sky Store, Sky Broadband Shield, Sky apps, and more. It consists of your email address (or a username) and a password.
Every Sky account must have a Primary Sky iD. This is the first user to create an iD and link it to the account.
You can only have one Primary Sky iD and this should ideally be the bill payer as they’ll be allowed to access account and billing details, make subscription changes, and access all subscribed services, such as Sky Broadband Shield and TV parental controls.

I don’t have a Sky iD
No problem, see How to create a Sky iD for all the information you need. You can create your Sky iD using your preferred email address and link it to your Sky account using your Sky account number or bank account details.
I’ve logged in but the Sky account information is wrong
Your Sky iD may be linked to an old Sky account. Log in to My Account and check the Sky account number, landline number and viewing card number, do these match your current Sky account?

The primary Sky iD holder of the account can manage which iD’s are linked to each Sky account.
First, they should unlink your Sky iD username from the old account, see Removing a Sky iD for more help. Next, link your Sky iD to the new account.
Secondary Sky iD’s
The primary iD holder or the person requesting access can create up to nine additional Sky iD's. The primary iD holder is then responsible for authorising access to what the additional iD's can see.
There are two types of secondary Sky iD that can be created, each has different levels of access:

You can also manage your existing secondary iD's in My Details; great if you want to remove a secondary iD or check up to see how many you have.
