If you have left Sky and then returned after being away for a year, then your account will have been closed. So, you will need to set up a new Sky ID and use.
I want to use the same email address
If you want to use the same email address you used in the past, then you need to first remove it from the old account as this will then free it up, allowing it to be used when setting your new Sky iD up.
How do I remove the email address from the old account?
To remove the email address from your old account go to https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details/sky-id/edit-unlink.
