Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes, it may be an issue with your IP address. You could try switching off your router for half an hour or so which will hopefully result in your connection being assigned a new IP address.

i live in Bristol, and the ip address is Stoke on Trent.

after a conversation with my internet provider, it appears it is a well known thing at sky, apparently i have to ring up sky and ask to be whitelisted.
