Hey everyone,

I have popped this thread in here for you all to share your "Winning with Sky VIP stories" with us. We would all love to hear about your prizes and even see some pictures.

I know there will be many people who enter these competitions and ballots who haven't won yet and wonder if they ever will (I am one of those people). Hearing from others who have won will inspire me and hopefully all of you to keep entering them, never know who could win next.

Hello we have been fortunate to win sky vip world championship darts tickets for December 29th. We need to collect from the ticket office but we don't know whether the tickets will be seated in the stands or on the tables or whether it will be in the sky vip lounge ? Has anyone else won and do you know what the ticket entitles you to ?

As it mentions in the MySky VIP section for the Darts events;

17. Where are my seats located?
Unfortunately, as specific seats are allocated on the day of the event, we can’t give any information about the location of seats before you go.

You could try emailing the Sky VIP ticketing team and ask if they can offer any guidance or further info.

Their email address is also in the MySky VIP FAQ section for the event.

I've been lucky enough to win 2 x VIP Tickets to watch Drake at Manchester Co-Op Arena! My wife is well chuffed that we've got these but the date is a challenge for us - Friday 25th July. 

Wondering if there is a way to swap these for a (less desirable) date? I'm sure when I entered that there were three dates to choose from. 

Hoping another winner sees this and wants to swap from their date to the Friday (if it is possible)

@mwainwright1 According to the Terms & Conditions tickets are non-transferable. Nothing in them says they can be swapped for different dates - if you end up actually getting them.

Bit of a mini review of the slayer concert I was fortunate to win tickets for via the VIP MySky app

Being a fan of Rock and heavy metal music since school I noticed two weeks ago that there was a ticket ballot on the MySky app to see slayer, anthrax and several other heavy metal bands at Blackweir field in Cardiff

Living only 15 minutes away I decided to enter (as I do with most competitions!) but with having a poor winning record !

I've enjoyed listening to slayer since I was 15 years old (I'm now 49) and did have tickets to see them in Birmingham in 1994 only for it to be cancelled.

To my surprise I received a winning email and a code to redeem 2 tickets 3 days before the concert on July 3rd. Coincidentally alanis morrisette had played the same venue the night before

Two of my mates already had tickets so the four of us ventured out with our band T shirts along with 30,000 other fans at 5pm on the 3rd July

Being local we parked about 5 minutes away in Cardiff city centre and walked in

The weather was perfect for once! And the venue was already busy when we got in. The ticket code was via ticketmaster (and having already been to see guns n roses the week before ) I downloaded the tickets into my phone wallet and we got straight in no queueing .

The vibe was relaxed and exciting and the warm up acts including anthrax played with power and passion in the evening sun

 
When slayer took to stage ( now in their 60s!) the music was relentless, aggressive and intense and their pyro and lights were impressive! Watching them blast through 40!years of their best tunes was brilliant and another band to tick off my bucket list. I'm not one for the mosh pit but we were able to get close enough to the stage to get a great view

The show ended in a blaze of pyro and lights and we all had a blast !

 

Managed to get back to the car and get home by 11.30!

I was recently lucky enough to win the ballot for x2 Sky VIP tickets for Drake @ Coop live 28th Jul. I was hoping that I would be able to give these to my 2 daughters, who both live at the same address as me with the same surname. I just wanted to double chat that this would be within the rules of the ticket? They are both Drake fans and weren’t lucky enough to purchase tickets in the general sale so I was overjoyed to win these tickets but as I am the account holder of the sky account I wanted to double check it would be ok for them to have the tickets without myself present and if so how we go about changing the names / ensuring that these tickets will be ok for them to attend with.

no spaces and use the @ symbol instead of at

 I was 15, so it was a dream come true especially after missing their Birmingham gig in ’94. The weather was perfect, Anthrax smashed their set, and Slayer were intense with killer lights and pyro. Great crowd, easy entry, and back home by 11:30.
