Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

Unfortunately you have no idea what you are talking about so I'd suggest you are in fact a Sky employee trying to make out you're not

Thanks. Does that mean any ballots applied for are still active?

@Jaxleton

That is correct as per this:

Just head to the My Sky app and look under VIP > Cinema Tickets or Shows & Attractions > My Bookings to check your details.

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

So does that mean Sports ticket offers in Sky VIP will no longer be available unless you have Sky Sports. I.e. Sky VIP just got worse for anyone that doesn't subscribe to Sky Sports? A bit of communication wouldn't go amiss to Sky VIP customers....

Sports Tickets are available, but you need to be a Sky Sports customer. There is a Sky Sports Reward banner under "Rewards For You" section for Sky Sports subscribers.

To be honest, I think it's a good change as it offers better value for money for Sports subscribers. Much like how free Paramount+ + and Vue tickets are only available for Sky Cinema customers, to give them better value, I don't see why the same shouldn't apply to Sports customers.

Sky Stream, Sky Glass Air and Sky Broadband customer

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

Does this mean that only people who have a Sky Sports package will have access to the sports tickets from now on?

What  about other Sky VIP members! who have other packages e.g. SKY Cinema will they still be able to apply for sky sports tickets?

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

@AH58 Sport benefits are only for Sky Sports subscribers, just like Vue tickets are only for Sky Cinema subscribers.

@AH58

Sky Cinema subscribers will be able to access the VIP tickets and if you have a Sky sports package then you will be able to access sporting VIp content.

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

Yes it has for me too. Had entered some sports competitions - have no idea if I've got any. Tried deleting and reinstalling app but no joy!

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

@Jassy1 Existing entries before they became for Sky Sport subscribers only will be honoured if you've been successful. I believe you can check in the My Bookings section of VIP or you'll get an email if successful. You won't see the Sport rewards if you're not a Sports customer so deleting and reinstalling the app will not do anything.

From this point now though you'll only be able to apply if you're a Sky Sports subscriber. I don't mind that. I can't get Vue tickets because I'm not a Cinema subscriber. I have no problem with certain perks being for certain package subscribers.

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

Disappointed  that Sky sports rewards have disappeared off the app so no idea if I will be successful in gaining tickets to competitions I've entered! When I reported it to Sky I was told to log out of my app delete and reinstall but still no joy! Have been a Sky customer for 22+ years, would be really nice if Sky had warned us of any changes!

I have also been trying to add Sky cricket/ sports to my package since last week to watch the Cricket test series but despite multiple calls Sky are still unable to add to my package as my movies is in pending cancellation. Nobody seems able to reverse the cancellation on my movies to enable adding sports ! Is there anyone in Sky that can resolve this problem? In the meantime I'm also unable to take advantage of my offer for free Sky sports for a month which will likely expire by the time the issue is resolved!

Re: Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

Does this mean if you no longer have access to the Sports reward tab, that any sports competition entries submitted  are no longer valid?
