Sky VIP Sports Tickets menu missing

Hello folks. Can you do me a favour and check whether the sports tickets menu on Sky VIP has also gone missing for you? I haven't been able to locate mine for two days. I need to know whether it's a me problem or a generalised problem.

@mattymc Not in my VIP tab either. Maybe there's just no events being offered at the moment?

Disappeared from mine too on 22 June and there were plenty of events with closing dates well beyond that date. I've tried contacting sky but their Bots block me getting to a human!

For some reason, there are now no sports ballots on my Sky VIP

@mattymc I had a thought: maybe it's just been removed temporarily to update now the new season football fixtures have been announced in England and Scotland?

I also noticed it went missing a couple of days ago! I was trying to see when the ballot I had entered for cricket tickets was ending.

Mine gone too....I've entered tickets for Rugby League and Cricket and I want to check it...also does anyone ever receive the conformation email or do you just have to check through the app.

On the few occasions I have been successful in a ballot, I have received a 'congratulations' confirmation email 👍

There’s something exciting coming your way. We’ve removed Sports tickets from the app while we prepare to launch some new, exclusive rewards for Sky Sports customers.

And don’t worry, any Sports tickets you’ve already booked are still valid. Just head to the My Sky app and look under VIP > Cinema Tickets or Shows & Attractions > My Bookings to check your details.

I'm going to mark this post as the current answer, so that everyone has the most up-to-date information.

@KevNewMedia Constructive criticism here but it might be a good idea that when something like this is done Sky make a forum news post. 

It helps the customer to know what the situation is and avoids the mess of the past few weeks when the Vue tickets were relocated onto a horizontal scroll menu before being restored to the vertical scroll menu!

All of a sudden I have no sports competitions and out of the blue i have been lucky in a ballot I did not enter. Since sky has no contact method I cant find out whathas happene

In a way it makes sense. Looks at how you need to be a Sky Cinema customer to get  Vue Cinema tickets. With that logic applied it makes sense for sports related rewards to be linked to Sky sports subscriptions.
