Sky Sports App Notification

Every time I turn OFF the notifications alert for 'LIVE on Sky' alerts, it keeps turning itself back on after I leave the app. All I want is 'breaking news' alert on. Anyone else having this issue? I've deleted the app and re-installed it but doesn't help. Same on iPad app too.

Hi, yes same thing happening to my husband on his sky sports app. Maybe a fault or glitch with the app?

Might be worth going to phone settings; notifications; find the app in the list from there and turn them off in this setting? That's for iPhone. 
Husband has done that and that seems to have done the trick.

On iPhone, if you go to settings; notifications and then find the sky app and turn off notifications in this setting. We have done this and it has done the trick.

But that'll stop all notifications? I still wanted the 'Breaking News' and not the rest.

I have a similar problem as well. 
All notifications turned off apart from the rugby, golf and F1. All I seem to be getting is football scores which I don't care about. 
Turned off breaking news and live alerts but they keep coming back on. Very annoying

Yes I have the same issue! No matter what I do can't get any notifications for SKYBET APP ?? really frustrating and I have made a complaint to sky but keep getting fobbed off every time!! My phones up to date with firmware update and all my notifications are switched on in settings too.

I detest cricket I've tried to get the shirty alerts off my phone but I've through all the alerts I want and tried to get rid of cricket,rugby and boxing as I'm not interested in any of these but I'm still getting alerts from these sports why can,t skysports sort this out on their apps. It's ANNOYING 😑 😡😡😡
