its not working for the majority, thats a lie
thanks for trying to contribute, but this needs someone who can actually solve the problem rather than pretend its the fault ofthe victim.

The problem is with the app or a conflict , my phone app works perfectly , my wifes app doesnt load final barcode properly , its greyed out , tried uninstalling and re installing still the same , prob points towards a conflict with onother installed app ,

I've just tried to use the crisps coupon. Barcode won't scan. No serial number for the assistant to type in. The poor bloke at customer service held his head in his hands and said "Oh no, not the Sky thing again!". The only way they can make it work is to do a manual price reduction (which thankfully the helpful Sainsbury's staff did). If you scroll to the bottom of the reward page there's a link to email Sky - do that, all you get here is other Sky customers replying.

I did email Sky and got a whole list of things I had to try such as erasing cookies, cache data etc. Updating the app if required. (Didn't need to) Hasn't made a jot of difference as the vouchers just don't work for me.
Sky said they're aware of some issues but but in my opinion not resolving this quickly enough.
Sadly my Sainsburys won't let me have the items without the barcode either. One member of staff even said it was because I had an old phone!

Did you turn the brightness right up on your phone screen? It does suggest that underneath the barcode if there is a problem scanning it, as the screen needs to be bright for the till system to be able to scan the barcode.

The barcode doesn't even show up when I activate the offer - the message is clipped only partly showing the top part.
It worked straight away on my mums phone when I did it for her!

It didn't work for me either (I was trying to claim the crisps) - 2 members of staff tried several times and said I'm not the first one to have the same issue. There is no number attached to the barcode so they couldn't override it either. The barcode isn't static - it moves - so it can't be scanned.
And yes, my screen was on full brightness and it was a superstore.
I wont be bothering with this promotion again!

Sky VIP tasty treat voucher
Hi
I have just tried to claim the latest tasty treat voucher but have encountered an issue. After clicking on Activate voucher, I get a widow appear warning about tile limits etc. there does not appear to be a way of closing this window which takes me forward to the actual voucher, only back to the activate voucher screen again. I am doing this on android. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this

Sky VIP treats app 'activate coupon' button not working on an iphone.
When I try to activate a sky VIP tasty treats coupon on my iphone it does nothing. The 4G signal is good and the process does as it should until the dark blue 'activate coupon' button is tapped- then nothing. When moving the sub page that opens I can see the greyed out main screen scrolling as though I am still on that page but the activate coupon page seems 'dead.' What is going on?

Out of the 3 treats I've been eligible for since I've been with Sky, I've only successfully redeemed 1. The first one I got a coupon but it wouldn't scan at the till. Ten second one worked and I got my treat. The third one (today) when I pressed the use now button nothing happened so I never got a coupon. There's nothing worse than being promised something and then being let down. Very poor.

I can't see why it won't display a barcode when you redeem it on the app and have until the promotion ends to use it. And once it's used you can't use it again. You have to select to redeem, select to leave the sky app, select ready to activate; then select continue to bring up the code or in this case no barcode for the nuts. Whoever thought of this process, needs to rethink.
there shouldn't be so much just to redeem something that should be so simple, just redeem the free item, have the barcode there on the app to use before the date runs out. Please rethink this as I have been unable to claim from a unneeded process that should and can when you put the process differently and sorting out a technical glitch that is preventing me and others from redeeming our free item.
