Hi, I too am having issues with the vouchers not scanning at the till. The lady tried everything to get it to work. I have now be twice to Sainsbury's ( last week with the pizza and today with the ice lollies) walked away empty handed as both times the vouchers will not scan! And now the vouchers have expired.
There must be a way if people can't get them to scan. Mine to glitches as the timer counts down. Is there a problem sky?

As it's a Sainsbury's offer you would need to take it up with them, but there should be no reason that a staff member cannot manually apply the discount if the voucher code is for some reason not scanning.

Hi, thanks for the response. Sainsbury's have told me to take it up with sky as it's a sky offer. I have emailed sky @foodreward as it said in the t&cs. can't see why it's working for a few people but majority of people are saying that it won't scan at till, so ther must be a problem. Sainsbury's didn't give me the reward or override the voucher not working.

One thing to check is if all the T&Cs of the offer was met. i.e the Sainsbury store you shopped in was a superstore and not a Local.
I know its a bit late now due to the fact you can only use the voucher within 30 minutes of activation but for next time worth taking a little cloth or tissue with you and trying to wipe/clean your phone screen before scanning the voucher and dust/dirt on the screen can prevent it reading the barcode correctly when its being scanned.
Also its working for the majority, and its the minority it doesn't work for. If it was the majority there would be a lot more complaints on this forum than there currently are.

Have the same issue as well, Customer service tried everything as well, as there was no number on it they wasn't able to do anything

Fri 18 July - planned my shopping trip, look up details of vip voucher. Planned to get lollies on offer. Nothing would bring up the final barcode - message was clipped. No Sainsburys staff could help - though several tried. Even went outside the store to see if it would down load fully to no avail. They wouldn't give me item even though they could see I had the offer but not barcode, said I had to take up the issue with Sky. This system isn't working - useless unless you can claim the offers!! Yes it was a superstore, correct item etc.
Sort this out Sky - Sainsburys staff had no idea what to do

No love corn available
So I go to pick up my freebie of love corn from sky vip oh we don’t stock that what’s the point of having it as a freebie then? Better luck next time be a lot of disappointed sky vips this week then sky please take this on board when giving away freebies @Sky are you going to send me something in the post as a goodwill gesture due to no love corn like a giftcard for Tesco

@Yoghurt By tagging Sky you not actuallyt contacting Sky but a fellow customer who unwisely chose thay user id.
In any event no one from Sky will send you antything as no one from Sky would know who you are from your community login. Furthermore why should they send you anything simply because something is out of stock?
It's a freebie, Sky owe you nothing.
Whats odd here is that you posted this not more than 2 days ago thanking Sky for your love corn?

...but read the terms and conditions of the offer - there are limits on the number of vouchers and there's no guarantees on stock

I got the pizza and lollys no problem got codes no problem even for the love corn but when I got to my nearest Sainsbury I was told we don't stock love corn any longer

Just because your local sainsbiru doesn't stock the item there are plenty of sainsburys across the uk that do.
sky cannot control what products each individual sainsburys store stock.

Sky VIP App not working for Sainsburys Corn freebies
Hi
I've carried out the correct proecedure using my Sky app for picking up the free Corn this week at Sainsburys but I was turned down by all the Sainsburys staff at Kingston Superstore. They could not use the voucher that Sky provided, despite it being perfectly readable.
I am wondering how can Sky sort out this failure of their freebie for me, it would be appreciated if they can put right their mistake thanks.

I don't think is anything that Sky can do but you can let them know of your issues via this email address here - foodreward @ skyticketit.com (no spaces)

Thank you but , Sky have done something, they have started a fake offer that doesnt work.
Its a lie and it needs correcting by them.
Someone mentioned a m,anual code. There is no code that the sainsburys staff could enter to accept the product so that is a lie too.
I am getting tired of being lied to.
I'll say to them if its not really an freebie then dont call it a freebie in future. Because that is a lie.
