Hi
I can't log in on the MySky app or on the Sky website following the usual route. Always displays a message saying "An unknown error has occurred" Try again later!
The only way I can log in to my sky account is to search SKY ID LOGIN & this gives me an older login page & it words.
I've been on to SKY several times about this, reset my password several times, cleared caches on computers, deleted app several times. Tried on an iphone, macbook, desktop, used chrome, safari, explorer, still doesn't work.
Sky appear to be at a loss, always say will escalate & get back to me, it'll work within 48 hours, never does, never fixed.
Does anyone have any suggestions or has experienced this themselves???
Been with SKY 17 years & it's infuriating!!

I figured it out.
Try changing you password to not have any symbols in it. Just numbers. Not sure why but it worked for me.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you been a Sky customer in the past, if so are you using the correct details to login to the MySky app with because if when you left Sky you were away for a year or more then you will need to use a new login or set one up.

Have been a sky customer ongoing for 17 years, no breaks.
Been on to Sky for an hour, again, they will escalate & get back to me.
Just wondered if anyone else had an issue similar.

Just so you know, I am the original poster, just several changes in the past hour while on with sky means a different ID name.... just one of the many things tried in an attempt to fix the issue.

Yes, it doesn't work, come up with Unknown Error Try Again.
I can only log in to this using skyid.sky.com Unable to log in using sky.com. They are routed differently.

I'm having the exact same issue. Can't login to my ID
Everything else works. Customer service couldn't figure it out. They didn't know how to fix it.
Sky go works. But I get the same error as you

It's horrific, many months later & they still can't fix the problem, they say i'll get a call back & I never do, assuming thats because Sky can't fix it.
Every time someones tries they make the account worse.
I have to try using different emails to create ID's it's actually insane & infuriating.

Excellent! this worked for me too!
I couldn't work out why I could sign in from some pages but not others...
Also, this fixed a problem signing into the latest Sky Worlds app for the Quest 2 VR headset.
