Well can't use old my sky app as we are returning customers
I've made a new email address but every time I try to make a new my sky app account it just links back to the old one
please help

If you have made a new Sky ID then you need to make sure the email address isn't being used with your old account as well, if it is then login to your old account here and remove it, you will need to enter another one but as this account is closed it really shouldn't matter what you use:
https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details
Once you have done this, login to the MySky app with your new Sky ID and password.
