My SKY app

I've forgotten how I use and which app I use to record programs.  Can someone remind me please

@PC49 to record programmes you need to use the Sky Go app


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile

  mean from my android phone which sky app do I use to set my Q Box to record  a program e.g a football match?

You do need to install the Sky Go app on your Android phone to be able to set recordings from it.

Just come back to sky  ( month ago ) and My sky app is still showing all old account details and Doesnt seem to be updating new details, etc. I can't seem to see anywhere I can do it myself either Any ideas anyone please ?

If we were away from Sky for more than 12 months you will need to create a new Sky id.

If you left Sky and then returned after being away for a year or more then your account will have been closed so you will need to set up a new Sky ID to use.


If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:
